The Aquaduck

On one of our last days in Queensland it was a rainy ole day and we didn't have much to do (apart from packing up) so we decided to take Tyler for a ride on the Aquaduck. He enjoyed it, especially when he got to have a drive when we were in the water. All the kids get to have a drive and receive a certificate for doing it. That was pretty cool. Tyler enjoyed chatting with the driver and the hostess and can still remember their names, Frank and Amy.

Before we entered the water Amy said "we are about to find out if this is a bus, a boat, or a submarine.....". Oops. that made Tyler very nervous as we went head first into the water. Splash.

After the ride we waited outside for awhile as Tyler wanted to wave good-bye to the Aquaduck. While we were just hanging around Warrick Capper started a conversation with me. (he must have been bored). He was very chatty and I found the questions he asked me were a bit strange, as so was he.

After the ride we had some lunch and a look around. I walked past a shop that had spiritual readings, healings etc. Actually I walked past it 3 times as I felt very drawn to it. I didn't say anything to mum and Tyler, I just walked in and had a reading done. I won't go into detail here but let me say it was very interesting.
